Absolutely horrible experience. Went in to discuss my issues and thought that I could trust them and they gave me false information that caused me to have a panic attack. I will never use their services again. EXTREMELY disappointed. Kurt Hegeman was my assessment counselor and he has no professional integrity whatsoever.
They were good in some respects and bad in others. They had a very good intake form, with clear instructions. The woman who took me into a consult was very kind! But the referrals they gave me were to someone who's going into retirement, an alternative medicine practitioner, and someone on the far outskirts of town. I don't think they meant to. I think their system needed to be updated. Still, there seems to be at least one available, close to campus therapist they gave me, so I think I'll be ok.
Terrible experience, Brought a friend in and the staff was very poorly trained to deal with depression. Staffers lied about available options. If you are in any trouble, absolutely do not go through the University for help. Seek external sources.
Don't trust them.
