I stopped in around noonish today pick up a few basics. There was a young man at the front who was friendly, but was chatting with friends near the entrance for 95% of the I was there. He said hello and then helped me reach something near the very end of my ~20 minute visit. He also rang me up and was pleasent. The only other employee was a young woman with dark hair and glasses at the register who never looked up from her phone or spoke to me the entire time I was there, even as I was obviously struggling to reach items on high racks. She went into the back and walked right past me, did not say hello, ask if I needed help, or even look at me. Also, the store is a mess. Too much stuff crammed into too small a space and the racks have WAY TOO much stuff on them making it impossible to pull anything off the rack without other stuff falling off the hanger and on the the floor. It was so annoying that I finally gave up and just started placing the stuff that fell on the floor over the top of the rack. I had to laugh at one point because Busy Doin' Nothin by Ace Wilder "I don't want to work but I want money" was playing. What a coinky-dink! I am happy with my purchases, however, but will probably NOT make this store a regular of mine unless that get their act in gear. I will stick with the Chicago locations I like when I go home for visits instead. In summary, for a new store in town they left a terrible first impression. Too bad, because this town in lacking in fashionable (non old lady) plus size stores.
UPDATE: I added a star after my past two visits over the past month. They have restaffed the joint and the service IS SO MUCH better.
Kinda pricey but I really like their bras. Hard to find bras my size that are as cute as these are. Also everyone there was very friendly. I'll definitely be returning in the future.
I was just in the store around 4:30 pm today as a former retail worker/manager I do know you have 30 seconds to acknowledge the customers NOPE not this store as I walked around the whole store waiting to see if I was even going to be asked if I wanted a dressing room as I had 2 pairs of Jeans a T-shirt and 2 sweaters and those cute new pixie pants No offer I'm sure its because the two ladies were standing behind the counter THE WHOLE TIME with their heads down and could care less 1. I was in there and 2. That I needed a dressing room I mean that would mean they would have to be friendly and assist a sale NOPE!!!! So now I've been in this store a good 17 minutes and still no help and by golly wasn't going to get any at this point.....darn it I wanted to use my coupons which I'll just use online the computer I'm sure will be more friendly So I asked the dark haired young lady what the store number was and she snipply gave it to me and looked at me like how dare you ask.....So after about 22 and 1/2 minutes I left.....its sad times that you can not get any great customer service anymore anywhere I hope y'all find some cause the Christmas season is approaching quick......I'll just stick to my favorite one at North woods Mall in Peoria Illinois so good luck to that district manager with management like that ✌
