Excellent and professional people. Excellent work. While at UIUC, I had a problem child of a Jeep that these guys were able to give sweet automotive therapy to and the vehicle now purrs. They have helped me out on a number of occasions and I never felt like I was out of the loop or being taken advantage of. Very easy to work with and they are very facilitating to any questions about any procedure. They know their stuff! I recommend this shop whole heartedly. As for the nay-sayers on this review board, I have no idea what they are talking about. This shop does not do any work that you do not authorize.

HORRIBLE PEOPLE! They told me I needed all new brakes and that it would cost over $1,000. Then, when I didn't want to spend that much, they charged my $115 for diagnosing the issue. They are total crooks. I took my car to the Brake Shop and they said that estimate was really high. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I have a large neighborhood group that I am a part of that I will blast this info out to. Joe's Automotive are a scuzzy bunch of crooks.
We came to Joe's Automotive Repair after we were almost certain we need a new alternator (That is what we were told at the store when we thought it was the battery). While they could have just replace the alternator, which would have been very costly, they gave it a thorough examination and determined that everything is working properly and that it must have forgotten the lights on or something that drained the battery. They asked for a reasonable payment for their work, saving us a lot of money, and the car has been working great since.
I was parked in the parking lot next door and accidentally locked my keys in the car. A very kind Angel lent me a hand and unlocked my car for me. Saved me hours and hours. Thank you!!
