The waiter was from Italy. Very pleasant. My wife enjoyed her meal. I got the Chef's special which was veal. It was a hunk of bone with fat surrounding it. Very little meat. I said to the waiter " It was mostly fat" he says "That is the way its supposed to be, gives it flavor". Living in central Illinois, raising cattle to eat for myself and close friends, I know the difference between fat that flavors and fat that should be disposed of. They should stick to the pasta.
We went here for a birthday celebration. Nandos easily has the most authentic Italian food in Central Illinois. The pasta is handmade. The seafood is incredibly fresh. Our experience was wonderful. This is our new favorite restaurant for special occasions!
We were greeted right at the door. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Food was superb (especially the pasta). Decor and ambiance are very nice too. I was pleasantly surprised that our waiter asked about food allergies and about the timing of our meal (when certain items should be brought out). Very thoughtful, professional and considerate of all that goes into your dining experience.
Nothing special about that place I could literally do any of those dishes at home and the prices are ridiculous for the amount of food you get. Do yourself a favor go to next door(cowboy monkey) and get yourself some pork tacos and a nice margarita.

A wonderful family owned authentic Italian restaurant.... The owners are from Italy they greet you with a smile! The staff is professional, knowledgeable and fun! Great place to relax and spend un-rushed time with your friends! Great Bartender too!
