Enormous portions, great flavor and fast, friendly service. Kung Pao Chicken and Szechuan Pork are a couple of my favorites! Combination dinners come with a tasty egg roll and free tea or water. Empire is my 'go-to' Chinese place in C-U.
everything is good but somewhat greasy
Really good homemade Chinese food. I have not had any of the American-style Chinese stuff here, so I can't comment on that but friends seem to like it, especially the Mongolian beef. My favorite dish so far is the twice-cooked pork. It is made with pork belly and is the perfect level of spicy with a generous "pinch" of Sichuan peppercorns. All of the veggies are very fresh and have a great texture. I am not sure what all of the other things I have tried are called because I sampled them off of friends plates but everything was good. Next time I want to order one of the pork rib dishes. That is if I can pass up my usual. I am also keen on trying the egg foo young and moo shu pork since so few Chinese places in town actually make either of those dishes.
FOOD IS AMAZING! Owners are super nice and has the best customer service. I would highly recommend going here.
