Went to Denny’s this morning in Champaign, ILL. Took 40 minutes to get our food. Plates were hot but food was like warm. My wife only got one glass of tea and could not get a refill. I only had two cups of coffee, waiter kept telling me he would come back with more but never did. I only had pancakes and my wife had oatmeal and took 40 minutes. Had to ask for bill from another waiter. This is the third time we have had this kind of service here. Will probably not be back. Avoid this Denny’s. I could have driven to Tuscola to the better Denny’s there, ate and driven back in the time it took to get my food.
Horrible service. This establishment seriously only has one good server. He is very fast and seems to have good work ethic. Some of the staff is nice but most of them are very short and quiet. Food is always good but they forget alot of what we order. This evening we waited an hr for just a bowl of soup. And then even longer for our entree...not too thrilled.
Considering that this place had like maybe 5 customers while we were here, you would think that the staff would be attentive. Took the waitress 20 minutes to bring us refills. Waited almost 30 minutes for our check, then stood up front for another 25 minutes waiting for someone to come so that we could pay our bill. All of this would be understandable of the restaurant was even slightly busy.
Decent place. Good food fast. Big line. , Short wait.
Food good. Food hot. Service great. Need to scrub bathroom floors. Dirt accumulated around stall legs and walls.
