I encourage everyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon to look at all their options before settling with Dr. Bane. Although I had heard good things about Dr. Bane, I had a very negative experience with him. He performed my surgery and then would not see me for a follow up. He always referred me on to his PA. I complained of repeated pain only to be told my xrays looked fine. I finally received a second opinion and my xrays had shown all along that my prosthetic was not in place! I am now scheduled for a second surgery to fix this mess. I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone!
I've been seeing Dr. Bane since 2009. He is always cheerful, professional, and honest. Now I've had 3 surgeries on the same shoulder and won't let anyone else touch me because I felt comfortable and confident with Dr. Bane. He explained my condition, and gave me 3 options. When I made my decision, he supported my decision.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bane. He is a very down-to-earth person. And his personality is beyond excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone in search of a good surgeon.
