Nice open area with a large central fountain. Good for walks, joggers, softball games and family gatherings. Playground available.
This is a fabulous park near the heart of downtown. For kids it has a great playground that is fenced (parents you know how awesome that sounds). For adults it has many paths to walk along, a beautiful fountain to sit by, and many trees to provide shade. The path around the park is about 1km which makes for a great midday walk around lunchtime. A great place to enjoy any day of the week.
Plenty of places to sit and people watch or have lunch. Nice location. Seems accessible.
I've enjoyed my visits to this park as it's located in the ♥ of Champaign near the downtown scenery.
Is a good place for walking. There's a sidewalk around the perimeter and through the center. There's statues, sculptures and plenty of trees for shade. Also p ark benches and a play area with swings.
