My first time and loved it. Will tell everyone I know to try it.
I haven't had anything from here that I didn't like. Bagels, turkey sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, breads, tortellini... All delicious.
There were a few people in line so we used the kiosk. Very user friendly and fast since we knew what we wanted to order. Food was ready fast and hot. Designated person cleaning tables so it was much cleaner than in the past.
I wouldn't have know how mediocre Panera truly is had I not gone to a competing chain recently. I stopped here while traveling, only because the McDonald's next door had two tour buses in the parking lot. Just wanted a bagel with cream cheese. They asked if I wanted it toasted. Sure, thank you. That was nice. So they toast it. Then they throw it in a little bag with a little tub of cream cheese. I have to prepare it myself? For $3? If I wanted to prepare it myself, I would have gone to the grocery store. Lots of people seem to like Panera, but I've found you can do better on sandwiches by finding a full service grocery store. Think this might have been my last Panera visit ever. Just not worth the freight for what you get.
My team and I stopped in for a "quick bite" to-go and were there for 40 minutes. The lady calling out orders couldn't speak very good English and tried to give us the wrong items. I had ordered a cinnamon roll and gotten a cookie instead, so when I exchanged it she gave me a bagel. Still no cinnamon roll. I had to remind her of the chai tea I had ordered and the pumpkin spice latte that my friend ordered several times after receiving our meals. Both of the drinks didn't taste right, the chai tea was way too strong and a little fruity, and the latte had too much spice. Overall a very frustrating experience
